If all that fails, try some air dried Ash. Awesome bending wood, it should take that bend no problem. Good luck! |

On to the 50 year old Brazilian rosewood!  Really, that's awesome Chris! Looking forward to seeing and hearing the first acoustic Marlin. Have you ever thought of using laminated sides instead? Although, it might be just as tough to get a veneer to bend that tight without splintering up. But two planks sanded to .04 would probably do well. And what's the plan on bindings? .065 all around, variable width, 2 strips, piles of snapped .08?
