Round 2. Here is a very nice set of Brazilian Rosewood. It is quartersawn, has exceptional color and is lightly figured. It will look great under finish. I went ahead and repaired those two cracks marked in the pic. They were invisibly tight and it was a simple fix. The set is tip top now and you can't see the repair. This set is just large enough for an dreadnaught, but very comfortable for an OM. Retail value on the set is $900, And... I am going to try to live dangerously again and do this one WITHOUT a reserve. (Domestic bidders only. Sorry guys, CITES restrictions) The auction ends tomorrow (SATURDAY) at 3PM EST. |

Thanks Waddy. In person the color is probably closer to my pic. and when you hit it with naptha (to get an idea for what it will look like under finish) it goes dark chocolate brown, with light brown streaks - and that curl pops nice. |

Brock, if you are shooting under fluorescent lights, you could get a big improvement by going outside. |
