Finally got this one finished. The player picked it up yesterday after being strung up for only two days. He was quite pleased. The sound is big, balanced and responsive. I'll try to get a sound clip.

Beautiful guitar. I am really impressed with your rosette. I would like to see a tutorial on how you do that.

Ken,

Lovely guitar and I look forward to some sound clips. The rosette is very elegant and I saw your posts on the MIMF about how you made it - very clever!!

Beautiful and interesting guitar. The cutaway is graceful, reminds me of Matsuda. It'd be great to hear sound clips, and know how you do do the rosette.

I LOVE it! [clap]

Gorgeous guitar! If it sings half as good as it looks - job well done.

Ken, if we hound you long enough, maybe you'll show us how you did the rosette?

So--how did you do that beautiful rosette?
And, what did you mean by getting your abalone from your "neighbor's yard"? (I'll have to look closer now at my neighbor's yard...)

I'll just add something about that gorgeous rosette that everyone's talking about. It looks very Grecian to me, like the painted borders on an amphora, or Egyptian, like the lotus motif. Classical influences, very cool [:Y:] [:Y:]

Very nice Ken. Any chance we can see the bracing pattern? [:Y:]

Thanks for the comments everyone. It would probably be better to do a tutorial when I make a new rosette but I'll go ahead and try to put something together with shots from various rosettes and pieces I have laying around. Look for it in the tutorial section a little later today.

Ricardo, here are bracing pics of the top and the back, though the back is from another guitar.
