board? I need one to generate some art for, all I need is the length, and top and bottom widths for the most common type. Thanks! Craig L |

Craig, depends on whether you are talking about a soprano, concert, tenor or baritone uke. Soprano uke dimenstions: length 7.5"; concert: 10 and tenor: 11.5. Baritone, I don't know. Most of these have a 1 3/8 neck width at the nut and 1 3/4 at the 12th fret. I am assuming connection to body at 14th fret. Some fret boards stop at the body and some continue to the sound hole. Hope this helps. |

I dug through my stack O' stuff and found this. I can't remember my source for it, but you may find it useful. If I remember correctly these measurements are for the Martin ukes. Soprano, or standard was the most common size of these things "back in the day." Most professional players nowadays go for the tenor. Or so I'm told. |
