I do not know if you noted or not Mike Mayer and my self posted to a topic "Mystery of lost post solved" but I am finding it real frustrating to write out a response and post it only to have the software decide not to post it. This has happened about 6 times to me yesterday alone. Is this something we can correct.

We can look into it, but I don't know that it is a "problem" as much as it is something different that will take a little getting used to.

If we can "turn off that setting" I have no problem with it. But I hesitate to go into the code and start modifying features. We got burned on that in the WebWiz platform -- making upgrades impossible.

We will look into it though and see what we can figure out.

I don't mean this to be snotty but I assure you It will not take me long to get use to writing out a three or four paragraph reply only to see it disappear into cyberspace. If there is a a reconsider post message I never saw it or the option of post anyway. All I know is that my post was submitted and then disregarded. This seems like a silly funcion any way you look at it. We have 500+ members will will constantly be having members posting while we write a reply.

I can't be certain that all of my lost posts were because of the warning that another post came in while I was typing. I know that it would like that that is what happened but it could have just silently thrown it out.

You could for the time being use notepad or Word to write your posts, the copy/paste it as your post. Notepad or Word will hold
it until you close, and not save. You can also spellcheck before
posting.

Pardon my laugh, this a viable option, but really I can't see my self opening a second program to post a comment on a forum. But you are right I could do this.

Guys, this feature has been proven to be unstable so it has been disabled for now.
Michael, please let me know if this fixes your posting issue.

I'd like to add that, if I write anything of substance, well of length, I seldom write anything of substance :D. I have gotten in the habit of hitting CTRL-A (to highlight everything then CTRL-C to copy to the clipboard just in case I have a problem with email or PM's. It has actually come in quite handy!
