Post subject:  odd acoustic pickup wanted

I have a need for an acoustic pickup with preamp that has individual pots and external battery box access. (similar to what Taylor uses in most of their newer guitars)

Anybody have any clue where to look or what to ask for?

I have looked at stewmac and LMI, but havent seen exactly what I am looking for....

Try RMC.

Thanks for the pointer, but that isnt what I am looking for.

I am looking for a UST pickup, but the controls (volume, tone) should be individual pots or at least a drillable card type rather than an "all in one" preamp system like a Fishman is. I hope that makes sense??

I am placing this pickup in a guitar that will have no internal access to change out batteries, so it will need one of the side mounted battery access panels. I dont care if the battery is separate or not, but it MUST be accessable from outside of the guitar.

This guitar is super thin, so although I can swueeze a fishmann classic 4T pickup into it, that would be really tight and it would be better to have a preamp that just had individual pots.

I hope all of this makes sense??

Hi Ken,

Like this?

Link: B-Band A-11

Also, if you look in the B-Band online store, you'll find a "B-Band side mount battery box", and they also have a 9V phantom box. Of course, they have an undersaddle (UST) pickup as well.

Hope this helps!

Dennis
