Well, I made it, with Brock's help. First thing I notice is that this site is fast! No more waiting for the main forum page to load. And we can edit! And the look is good. As one who expressed impatience more than once, I want to say thanks.

Yeah, me too. This is great. Fast, well formatted, familiar looking. Nice. Thanks guys. I know it has been a tough week and weekend too.

Looks great, but would look a lot better if I could see pictures and log in without getting bumped off the discussion groups. Keep plugging away guys.

Howdy Fellers,
So good to be back, I missed you guys. I just got back on today. I never could figure out how to use my old User Name, so I re-registered. I don't care, I only had like 10 posts and didn't need my last name on there no way.
Wow, this is fast and nice! And WaddyT is right, clicking on the pictures to get a close up will be helpful. Nice to be back.
Well, I've made some progress on my Dreadnought. Yesterday I traced the outline of the guitar body on a piece of Plexiglas and cut it out. Then, using that I traced the shape on plywood. I cut out the mold using three pieces of 3/4" plywood for each side. Glued them up last night before I went to bed and all today I've been touching them up and went to the hardware store for hardware...lol
Anyway....can't wait to get my sides in there and go to town with it.

Have a GR8 DAY!

Yes, the speed is a huge improvment. But now I have to find another time for coffee. I used to do it while the site was loading.

Thanks.

In spite of the initial problems logging on, the site is well worth the wait.
I like it a lot and really appreciate how fast and feature-intensive it is.

Anybody hear from Sir Grumpy yet on his opinion...he's probably still under the hood or kicking tires!

Thanks for a fine result, Lance & Brock!

Yes Thanks for the effort Lance and Brock,
and anyone else who happened to contribute time and effort into the new setup also...
I see some people are already dissatisfied with this or that feature or lack thereof, but that is to be expected....
As far as I can sense from roaming around a bit is - that its a bit different is all,,,
and Ill need to adjust somewhat,
but for one thing its one heck of alot faster and thats the main point for me!!!
Great Job - I noticed all of my PMs are imported into my mailbox too- wow an unexpected perk!!!
Cheers
Charlie
