Well gentlemen . It would appear after checking with Hibdon that Shady Jacks having a shindig on the 28th . So it would appear that our best choice is the 21st of Sept. 2019 for our annual gathering . We have several demos already in the works. Chris A Ensor will be showing us several of his new products and demonstrating their usage. I will add more shortly . If we have talked about you doing a demo this yr mention it in the comments .

Steve , this year we are asking "if possible" everyone bring their first ever attempt at building an instrument :D

Just less than 6 weeks to show time !! We have a dulcimer builder coming as well this year . Several demos on " How To" and great conversations. Something new this year , we are asking builders to bring their first ever attempt at building . It will be enjoyable to see how far everyone has progressed . Looking forward to see everyone !!

Unfortunately, no. The "Sonny Do" list just grew exponentially, Mom sold the ranch (at least she hasn't "bought the farm") and I have a major move to help with. You guys have fun and we'll see you next year.

Gateway Area Luthiers Show at Hibdon Hardwood Sat 21st St Loius Mo. 9:00 to 4:00
Well gentlemen , it is 6 days away from show time . We have a good group coming and i am looking forward to seeing everyone . DONT FORGET YOUR FIRST BUILD ! Its going to be nice to see all the progress that people have made. Chris A Ensor is going to be highlighting his jigs. I believe Donald Ickes had a neck carve planned. I have a new idea for bracing that most have seen i will discuss. I also have a finished guitar that has the application. Joe Mendel may be discussing the CNC process he is using . We have shopping time as well and i am sure Hibdon will be giving the same discount as always . We will also spend the last 1-1/2 hrs sitting in a group and discussing ideas or subjects that we need help with or are curious about. If you have a good group discussion idea please mention it . As always we will have lunch available. Its not to late to invite a friend . Looking forward to seeing everyone !
