Alaskan specialty woods sell some cheap paint grade top for this... something I can look into

That was a one time deal that I just had to get out of my system Brian. I think it's got to be a tone killer. I just used a rattle can of black to get the black and then clear coated, but the black is pretty gooey stuff.

Just finished #78, a Brazilian/Adi dred for a client. Also #79, a double side Mahogany/Sitka OM.

I was literally "laughing out loud" with that remark.

I thought the same thing-I just turned 60.....
