I have a client who brought in a 2007 American Les Paul Studio that he just bought used. He wants a full setup and so on but it was in a gig bag when he bought it. This guys a pro who plays just about every night in Nashville and he's going to haul this one around as his backup guitar. He wants me to find him a decent hardshell case that can take the abuse. Anyone have any recommendations that won't break the bank? He's not flying so no need for an airline proof case.

The two that I have built sleep in TKL cases that were $129 at my local music store.

I'll add that because of the vulnerable heads, I think Gibsons really do need a good hardshell case.

Freeman, I agree that Gibsons especially need a hardshell case, I basically told my client I didn't want to send it out of the shop without one and he agreed.
