Greetings, I am curious about a wood called Ebiara. Does anyone sell it? An old post from 2014 on the forum gives me hope that it might be a nice back and side wood. Any information would be helpful. How much should a set of this wood cost. No one seems to have any available. I see that RC Tonewoods has sold it but are out of stock. A customer brought in a picture of Ebira. Pretty in my opinion. Thanks Ken

You may want to call RC just to double check. Sometimes they have stuff stashed away or not yet sawn stuff that isn't listed on the site. I got myself a really nice set of Gabon Ebony that way some years ago.

Ebiara also goes by the name red zebrawood so that might help to locate some. I've seen from really nice looking back and sides sets in the past. Definitely from RC Tonewoods and maybe from Aaron Hix too (both are sponsors of this forum). I have some ebiara binding waiting to be used on the right guitar.

I see that Gilmer has one board but it's only 7 1/4" wide. Parlor?

I have some ebiara (red zebrawood) in stock. It is a great tonewood, a lot like regular zebrawood, but somewhat easier to work with.

Aaron Hix on eBay. He is a sponsor here. Good guy. Great wood!
