In case I’m not able to pop in on Turkey day, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving in advance!

Eat Drink Have a good one!!

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Bleary eyed early this morning I thought it said:

Happy Thanksgiving fools...

Anyway...yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all, my favorite holiday. There is still a lot to be thankful for...
