Anyone ever do a buffing prior to gluing the bridge??? I'm sanded to 1500 and have had ever so slight final finish discrepancies next to the bridge on previous builds that have required a lot of extra work buffing near bridge with compounds.. Just figured I might try buffing the guitar top before gluing the bridge this time.
Good or bad idea??????
Kent

I always buff the body before the bridge and neck go on.

Yes,a good idea to buff before the bridge and neck are glued on.
I buff mine out before removing finish for the bridge.

Me too. Just be super careful when handling it after buffing.

This is standard procedure for steel strings.
