I think it is a great idea. My problem is (one of many) that I build very slowly as a hobby that is behind being a dad of two active kids and running a business. So the timing seems like it would be hard. I guess there may be format that works to keep most people involved. I will watch to see what others contribute and what might get tackled. Good idea.

Yes, I would be interested also. I'm about to start a 37 Hauser myself....1st build from scratch.

It would be very hard to pull this off as each of us have a limited amount of time and process scheduling would be near impossible. It is a nice idea but would be better done as a tutorial by one builder posted in chapters inside a designated forum that anyone that wanted to fallow could at their own leiser. But then again as you know this is already available on DVD from David Schramm as well as Robbie Obrien has a great one out as well so I think the reason for the effort is somewhat fruit less

I like the idea, but I also agree with Michael that the logistics and realities of schedules are overwhelming. What might be cool is to set up a forum section based on Dave Schramm's CD or Robbie's DVD, broken down into discussion threads for each general section, then those interested in following along could purchase the CD or DVD and blueprint. Might as well build on the previous efforts of others rather than start from scratch.

I like the idea of doing a classical as that would be new territory for those like me who've mostly studied steel string. It might also be fun to pick one of the OLF library plans and then use Robbie's steel string DVD as a general guide.

I don't own either of Robbie's DVD's, but from what I understand it might lend itself well to this sort of thing.

There's always the chance it wouldn't catch on, but at least no one person would be out hours of putting together instructions and photos, and all it would take is a few clicks from Brock to establish a new forum sub-section. It could turn out to be a good resource for new builders to be able to see step by step progress in one place.
