I have a customers 1974 Takamine Dread in my shop.
I am wondering if the neck joint is glued in with epoxy.
I am also wondering if the joint is the standard dovetail or m/t or some other japanese flare.

i posted a similar thread the other day but it may have been lost in all this transition stuff.

TIA

David please do something about your avatar. It is way too much.
Thanks, Evan

Hey I've seen worse in the streets of Manhattan...especially 42nd street :D

Actually it's the only pic that I have that fits the parameters of the new forum's avatar requirements. i am working on a new one will be up soon...please don't get "offended".

By the way...Do you know what it is?

take a guess...

Nope...

It's what your leg will look like if bitten by one of Florida's abundant creatures...a brown recluse spider...
pretty nasty stuff...they are everywhere here in Florida...most people don't realize until it's too late.

Dave, let me add another thanks for changing the avatar. The old one seemed to get worse every time I saw it.
