For those of you with experience with these pickups, how much do you gain by adding the internal mic to the Pure Western Minis? I have a client who is needing to make a choice between the two.

Hi cecil,
I am one of many here who are K&K dealers. My thoughts on this is that you gain a difference in tone. the microphone obviously is picking up signal as it "hears" it which is different from how the caps are "feeling" it under the saddle. I have customers who use one or the other and are just as happy. A lot depends on your sound man and how well he/she can hear too.
